Profile:

      The last child of a large family. Born in Kermanshah, Iran, on May 5, 1937. Started school in 1944. Finished elementary and junior high school and entered the Normal School, and having finished was employed by Department of Education to teach at elementary schools in Qasr-e-Shirin for five years. Meanwhile, preparing for the Diploma in Persian Literature, and eventually for the Entrance Examination of Tehran Teaching Training University. Accepted with the first best result in 1953 and finished the four year studies in 1957 with the second best result.

During these four years worked as a full-time teacher and a full-time night student, and also studied at the British council 3 hrs/week.

Back to Qasr-e-shirin to fulfill another five years as a teacher of English.However, despite passing the examination to study MA in American University of Beirut with full scholarship, the Department of Education disagreed due to warranty for teaching. Then decided to go on with my own expenses and left my work without having completed the five-year-teaching I had to accomplish. I spent two weeks in Beirut and decided to go to San Francisco State College, with the letter of admission I already had in hand to study Creative Writing.

Resigned the second term as had obtained Mrs. Degree instead MA. Besides, the department of Education had given a hard time to the person who was legally my bondsman.

Later finished MA in English Language and Linguistics at Shiraz university with average 4.00 as a very distinguished student while was still teaching at the university high school at the same time. Awarded the university medal.

In 1971-1972 I received a British Council Scholarship and studied at Cardiff University, where I received the postgraduate diploma in the Teaching of English as Foreign Language and a Letter of Certificate in General Phonetics. The next year I was accepted by the University of Newcastle on Tyne, where I studied the English Language and General Linguistics. My dissertation was halfway done when I ran out of money and could not live with the stipend offered which was then 50 Pounds a month. Returned home to work and finish the dissertation, but due to death of parents one after the other I became depressed as I felt her everywhere in the house. Besides I loved her most next to God.

 

Although as a child I had some strange mystical experiences, I was 39 when I strongly went on practicing.

 

I have traveled a great deal in Asia, Europe, America and Africa, and mingled with different people with different ideas and beliefs. No one bothers me except the person who thinks he or she is right and others are wrong.

 

I am fascinated by the idea of the Unity of Being and the Unity of Religion.

  • Incomplete Graduate Studied in the English Language and General Linguistics, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, England; Despite 62 units above and over Ma Degrees.
  • MA Degree in the English Language and Literature, Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran;
  • Postgraduate Diploma in TEFL, Cardiff University, U. K;
  • Certificate in General Phonetics, Cardiff University, U. K;
  • BA in English and Education Teaching Training University, Tehran.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Teaching English at high schools approximately for 10 years, colleges and universities from since1976 except the two years spent studying in United Kingdom

                Fosus al-Hikam, the Bezels of Wisdom”, the main text and quite a few of other IbnArabi’s Risalats, Treatises, are on process of evaluation for publication by Elham Publisher, Tehran.

[1] - The Arabic words ‘Rahman” and “Rahim” translated “Most Gracious” and “Most Merciful” are both intensive words referring to different aspects of God’s attributes of Mercy; i. e. the “Mercy of gratuitous gift” and the “Mercy og obligation”. [2] - The Arabic word Rabb, usually translated Lord, has also the meanind of cherishing, sustaining, bringing to maturity.

[3] - Note that the words relating to Grace are connected actively with God; those relating to Wrath are impersonal.

[4] - Those who are in the darkness of Wrath and those, who astray. The first deliberately break God’s law; the second stray out of carelessness or negligence. Both are responsible. In opposition to both are thr people who are in the light of God’s Grace.
